At MIS, we advocate a well-rounded and holistic curriculum that encourages our learners to have a multi-faceted learning experience. Our teaching methods aim to enable the all-round development of a child, giving them the tools to become self-reliant individuals with strong personalities, along with academic and emotional intelligence
We aim to hone our Medi-Captains in six areas namely: Academics, Personality development, Values, Sports and Health, Skills and Vocational competencies
We teach them self-reliance, discipline, empathy and basic life skills along with academic knowledge. Our curriculum is based on the idea that each learner has the capability to be the best if provided with the correct tools.

At MIS, we do not follow the traditional system of rote learning as cramming the concepts can never make a person knowledgeable. Here the students are involved in the construction of knowledge through active involvement in Inquiry-based Learning.
In Inquiry-based learning, children raise questions and find out answers to their questions through multiple methods. The representation of their thoughts and ideas is also done in multiple ways through writings, verbal discussions, drawings, graphs, charts, models, exhibitions etc.
The teacher is an important guide, facilitator and co-learner in this inquiry-based learning process along with children. Due to this method, students develop an in-depth understanding, 21st century skills and a strong motivation to learn.

Through individual, small group and school-wide acts of service, we help all members of the Medi-Caps community develop the belief that giving back to those in need is a lifelong responsibility.

Remedial Classes are often used to stress the basics in a subject such as Math, Science and Languages. They can help students who are having problems with advanced concepts to fully understand the basics of the respective subject.
Remedial classes create a positive environment for students suffering from low self-esteem, as they encourage students to ask as many questions as necessary, to understand a subject rather than feeling pressured to learn everything immediately.
Enrichment Classes: We intend to prepare an environment that helps each child develop his intellectual potential, conducted for scholar students to reach the pinnacle of new heights in their academics.

Special Education

From self-driving cars to robot-assisted surgery to social media, computer science is revolutionizing every aspect of our lives. Coding is a fundamental skill that children need to learn so they can lead this movement.
Block based coding is taught right from Class I using Code.org, Scratch, MIT App Inventor, HTML, JavaScript and Python etc.
As students move up higher in the grade levels, they are trained to design Applications, Games, Websites, Animated movies and Logos.
